Shippery Slope is a website born from the constant accusations by certain
people that any kind of lip contact or schmoopiness between Mulder and
Scully will result in The X-Files deteriating from top class drama series
to the pits of televison hell, and becoming Melrose Place, or Dawson's
Creek, or Moonlighting. Take your pick, these names have all been bandied
about when arguments against shippiness are raised.
But
here we revel in the desent to pure out and out slush, and even take pride
in documenting the slide into the shippy underworld of television.
