MULDER/Rohrer FIGHT 1. Mulder and Knowle Rohrer get into a fight when Knowle finds him inside a government facility and Mulder does get hurt. 2. Mulder gets away from Rohrer, but gets caught and put into the USMC Brig where he is beaten by a guard until he admits to what they need him to confess to (the script says Mulder lays his head on the cell floor after the beating, thus already placing him in the Brig). Question: If mulder is being beaten why doesn't he fight back? Answer: You mean in the fight with KR? He definitely lands a hell of hit on him. Youch! Straight to the skull. A little more on the Powerplant/War room where the Knowle Rhohr and Mulder fight takes place. Mulder has a card key for the computer operations room. Once inside the room he finds a big glass computer screen with on which green textual data is visible. Mulder types at the keyboard and bings up new data under a log line: End Game. As the data scrolls by, Mulder's face reveals that the data is a stunning revaltion, perhaps answers that he's sought, but we don't know at this time what those answers are. At this time, Rhohr enters the computer operations room--it is Mulder who iniates the strike on Rhohr. Also, there have been questions on the boards about how Knowle Rhohr found Mulder, it actually feels more like the reverse, or more accidental. Mulder was in the government facility where Knowle Rhohr works when Rhohr found him and the fight ensued. I hope that clears things up a little bit for everyone. ______________________________________ Skinner calls Scully and tells her to meet him at the brig (which is at Quantico), it is regarding Mulder, in Act I (pending final cut). ___________________________________________ MULDER IN BRIG Mulder's physically coerced into saying he's a guilty man, that he failed in every respect, that he deserves the harshest penalty for this crimes. The highest penalty in his case is the death penalty. Mulder, quite literally, is on trial for his life when he is accused of killing Super Solidier Knowle Rhohr. Question: If mulder is being beaten why doesn't he fight back? If you mean with the guards in his cell, he can't fight back. _______________________________________________________ M+SREUNION there is Mulder and Scully interaction very early in the episode. (Please note: all spoilers are the best we can peice together from what we've seen, we have NOT seen the full episode). And last but not least, there apparently will be at least one kiss and some affection on display between Mulder and Scully in the finale. _________________________________________ TRIAL/Recurring cast members In what is shaping up to be one helluva family reunion "X" apparently will return as part of a military court hearing involving Mulder and Scully, Doggett, Reyes and Marita. Possible casting spoiler: Laurie Holden Online reported that it has been confirmed that Laurie Holden will be shotting the finale as Martia. The source of this confirmation is Laurie's publicist, so it's likely to be accurate. *Gibson is in the finale *Krycek is in the finale (or at least the script) *Marita is in the finale Question: Rumor has it that Gibson Praise returns for the finale. Do any of his scenes give closure sad story, and involvement in conspiracy? Answer: Gibson is absolutely in the episode in real time (unless they do some really, really intense editing) and his story plays a pivotal role. From TV Tome: "Apparently the Gunmen will be shooting a new scene or two for the X Files finale episodes. From what I hear, it will be a scene of the Gunmen in the desert. I have no news whatsoever as to whether our boys will be Live or Memorex." Adding on from an anon source: At least one of the boy is "live," not "Memorex." The assumption is they are all "live." __________________________________________ THE BREAKOUT *Doggett and Skinner break Mulder out of the brig 3. Skinner and Doggett rescue Mulder from the Brig long after the military trial and sentencing. Also, while the escape happens in the second hour, ______________________________________ GENERAL SPOILERS Question: My 1 major concern is seeing M&S together through this finale, so will there be a GOOD amount of screen time for these two? Answer: They are together much more than Existence, but not together for every scene. I think they have some decent time together, much more than I expected. Question: Do the script pieces you have seen indicate or strongly show that Mulder and Scully are in a committed relationship, at least want to return one now is back ? Apparently there's kiss some cuddling going on, but strength of their relationship integral plot (and here dreaded word again) unambiguous? I guess what'm asking is, does finale read as an Essence/Existence Requiem? Answer: It's obvious to me that they are involved with each other. I don't think it's ambiguous at all. I haven't read the whole script, but what I've seen feels more like Requiem to me. Part of this may be because they are together more. Agent Mulder definitely gazes at Agent Scully! 4. There is no evidence that Skinner is shot in the attempt to rescue Mulder For the finale they are currently casting for Hispanic and African American guys to play neighbors, police officers, detective types, and men and women for on-camera news reporters.
