Cathy's main interests are a love of books, with a special interest in 19th century 
and contempory American literature and modern poetry. The works of Jane Austen, 
Truman Capote and Sylvia Plath are particular favourites. She also enjoys writing
and contributes to online review forums, keeps an online diary and writes her own 
poetry and scripts, submitting them as young as 13.

She has always enjoyed participating in the arts. After drama school, she was 
accepted at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 1995 and won the 
1997 Iowa State Speech Contest for 'Best Original Orator' during her time in the USA. 
Her other passions are film, photography and design (both interior design and web 
design) and psychology. 

She prides herself on being contientious and competent and was asked to be 
Undergraduate Student Representive for Psychology in 2000/2001 and was also the 
Student Representive for the 2001 Undergraduate Psychology Conference in 
Southampton. 

Cathy likes to challenge and be challenged, likes diversity, pink and doesn't ordinarily 
speak in the third person.
